My approach to making images is both methodical and coincidental. Using found objects and familiar imagery as subject matter, my work illustrates a heightened awareness of the queer surroundings I dwell in. Inspired by the visual language of advertising, I use photography as a methodical tool for constructing formal compositions designed to be simultaneously seductive and unfaithful. The coincidental dialogue between seemingly unrelated images stands at the blurred intersection of the themes that arouse my process, including artificiality, sexuality, and masculinity.
